Southeastern has announced, that without any prior consultation, there will be significant timetable changes to train services from 11th December.
Some of the changes include:
- Withdrawal of all Charing Cross services on the Greenwich and Woolwich line
- Withdrawal of all off-peak and weekend services to Charing Cross on the Bexleyheath line
- Withdrawal of the round-the-loop service to Cannon Street on the Sidcup line and the Woolwich line
- Downgrading of Albany Park station
The Labour Group has written to Southeastern outlining concerns regarding the lack of consultation and impact these changes will have on disabled residents, those travelling to work and the potential climate impact if more people choose to travel to London via car.
Many residents have already voiced their concerns about the impact of these changes, however, due to poor publication, not everyone will be aware of the changes to these essential services that they use on a regular basis.
Please sign and share our petition below, calling on Southeastern to consult on the proposed changes.
