I live right here in Erith and Thamesmead – it’s where my family and friends live and it’s where my roots are. I have fought for better housing, health services, and helped secure more transport links.
This Conservative Government has been a disaster for people living in Erith and Thamesmead. They crashed the economy and then made the British people pay the price. Wages are down, household bills and taxes are up, and they’ve ripped the heart out of our public services.
Erith and Thamesmead is my home and I have always fought to put us on the agenda in Westminster: pushing for improved transport links, health services and housing. You can find out about my previous parliamentary experience via here.
Over 14 long years, the Tories have failed local people. I’ve lost count of the number of times people have complained to me that “nothing works in this country anymore”. We can’t go on like this.
