Jeremy Fosten has been selected as the Labour candidate for the Belvedere by-election on the 17th October, born and raised in Bexley, Jeremy studied at local schools, is a lawyer and is training to be a barrister.
Jeremy wants to bring his experience of being a young person during the cost of living crisis and the housing crisis, under the last Conservative government, if elected to Bexley Council. Jeremy is passionate about improving transport links and building more genuinely affordable housing for Belvedere.
The reason the by-election has been called is after 20 years as a Bexley Councillor, Daniel Francis has stood down following his election as MP in a neighbouring constituency. Both Abena Oppong-Asare MP for Erith and Thamesmead and Daniel Francis endorse Jeremy Fosten as the right candidate for Belvedere.
Abena says ‘I am delighted to ask you to vote for Jeremy to be your local councillor’ Jeremy Fosten says ‘Daniels shoes will be hard to fill but i believe i am up to the job and i look forward, if elected to working with the existing Cllrs for Belvedere, Sally Hinkley and Esther Amaning to fight for better services for the residents of Belvedere’
