Councillor Baljeet Gill
Northumberland Heath ward
Baljeet is a councillor for Northumberland Heath ward and a well known community activist.
Baljeet was born in Singapore in 1959 and graduated in India at Guru Nanak Dev University. He arrived in London in1980 and have been working for British Bakeries for 33 years.
He is a family man; married with three children and an active member of the local Sikh community. He is the general secretary at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara Belvedere and chairman of Asian community centre in Plumstead.
Baljeet was elected to represent the residents of Northumberland heath ward on 5th May 2022 and is eager to work with all the communities therein.
