Abena Oppong-Asare MP was elected to represent Erith and Thamesmead in Parliament at the General Election in 2019.

Her constituency covers parts of both the London Borough of Bexley and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Abena previously served as a councillor in Bexley for Erith Ward between 2014-2018, and was Deputy Leader of Bexley Labour Group.
